About FancyTextGenie

Last updated: 12 October 2026

FancyTextGenie is a free set of tools for turning plain text into stylish, fancy fonts you can copy and paste anywhere, from Instagram bios and WhatsApp statuses to Discord servers and game names.

What we do

Most apps only let you write in one font. FancyTextGenie gives you more than 500 styles: ๐“ฌ๐“พ๐“ป๐“ผ๐“ฒ๐“ฟ๐“ฎ, ๐›๐จ๐ฅ๐, ๐”ค๐”ฌ๐”ฑ๐”ฅ๐”ฆ๐” , โ“‘โ“คโ“‘โ“‘โ“›โ“” and hundreds of decorated combinations, all built from standard Unicode characters that work on almost every device.

How we build our tools

  • Fast on every phone. Pages are small and load quickly, even on slower mobile connections.
  • Honest about compatibility. Every style shows a coloured dot so you know whether it will display correctly before you paste it.
  • Private by design. Your text is converted inside your browser. It is never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
  • Free. Every tool is free to use, with no sign-up and no app to install.

Our tools

We also publish practical guides on our blog, and add new tools regularly.

Who runs FancyTextGenie

FancyTextGenie is owned and run by Ale, a website developer and SEO specialist who builds the tools and reviews every tool and guide before it is published. It is a one-person project: there is no hidden team, and no company pays us to promote anything.

How we keep the tools accurate

  • Every character comes from the official Unicode Standard. See our methodology and sources.
  • Automated tests check thousands of conversions and every interactive tool before each update. See how we test.
  • Each tool shows when it was last reviewed and has a changelog, and fixes are logged on our corrections page.
  • How we write and review content, including our use of AI writing tools, is set out in our editorial policy.

How the site is funded

Every tool is free. The site is paid for by its owner, and in the future it may show advertising to cover running costs. Advertising will never decide what we write or which tools we build.
